The Department of Corrections has released the names of a social worker and two youth counselors who resigned this week from the Lincoln Hills and Copper Lake facilities for juvenile inmates in northern Wisconsin.

Kaitlyn Knospe, Nicole Daniecki and Timothy Johnson had all been on administrative leave for more than a month from the school, the state’s only secure juvenile detention center.

The resignations come in the wake of a state and federal investigation of alleged child abuse at the school that has has been underway since late November. An email from the DOC says three other employees were suspended with pay this week as the investigation continues.
