I'm reminded that Article VI of the US Constitutiion states that 'this constitution, and the Laws of the United States...and all Treaties made...shall be the supreme Law of the Land....' The US signed the 1984 Convention against Torture, so this, too, is the supreme law of the land, no matter what Pres. Bush might wish, or his Atty. General might contrive to justify."
