Cranes and the Two Koreas

MAY 1, 2008 THURSDAY AT 3PM CT

The Demilitarized Zone between North and South Korea is a symbol of war and separation. Ironically it has also provided refuge to many plants and animals including the endangered Red-Crowned Crane, a symbol of peace and harmony in Asian culture. What is the status and future for the cranes? Jean Feraca talks with the co-founder of the International Crane Foundation who just visited the area.
