Cooking and eating habits are a window into a culture. A local chef talks about the travel experiences that changed her attitudes to cooking and eating, and how food becomes a vital connector within communities. From the concept of slow food to eating local, our guest talks about an attitude to eating and cooking.

  • Otehlia Cassidy, is a dancer and cooking instructor, founder of the Baraka Drum and Dance Ensemble, and instructor at WADOMA, West African Dance of Madison, Wisconsin. She has a master’s degree from the UW-Madison in Conservation Biology.
