Inside Islam Series

A grant from the national Social Science Research Council (SSRC) has allowed UW-Madison and Here on Earth to launch a multimedia series called Inside Islam: Dialogues and Debates. We welcome your comments which we may air during our mail bag segment. You can leave your comments on Inside Islam or our hotline 1-877-GLOBE-07, +1-608-890-0269.

The latest program in the series is The Hajj aired on Thursday, November 19. One of the world's longest-lived religious rites, the hajj to Mecca, is even older than Islam. It has been described as a universal journey for transcendence and peace, but will that change this year given the fear surrounding H1N1? What does it mean to 1.5 billion Muslims worldwide?
