Republican presidential contender Ted Cruz is asking his supporters to help pay off Gov. Scott Walker’s presidential campaign debt.
Walker’s presidential campaign has sent out repeated fundraising emails since he dropped out of the race. In one delivered Sunday, Walker wrote that in the final weeks of his campaign, he “incurred an unavoidable campaign debt.”
Cruz, a U.S. senator from Texas who has seen his standing rise in recent GOP polls, posted Walker’s fundraising email to his followers on Twitter.

It’s not the first time one of the GOP hopefuls has said nice things about Walker since his departure from the race, though it may be the most public overture specifically aimed at helping the governor fundraise.
Walker has said he “probably” won’t endorse any candidates.
