Birthing Project and Cuba

Cuba's health care system places a premium on the care of women and children, and therefore Cuba has one of the lowest infant mortality rates in the developing world. By contrast, the United States has one of the highest rates among wealthy nations. This hour on Here on Earth, Jean Feraca talks with guests who have developed a pre-natal health care system modeled on Cuba's.
