A Blind Poet, A World Citizen

October 11, 2006 Wednesday 3PM CT ( listen)
It is said that blind people have developed better senses of hearing, touch, and smell, to cope with their visually limited world. However, this hour, on Here on Earth: Radio Without Borders, Jean Feraca's guest, a blind poet, finds not a limited world, but one expanded and revealed anew.

Guest

  • Stephen Kuusisto, poet, author of "Eavesdropping: A Memoir of Blindness and Listening"
