For ten years, she was a staff writer for Vanity Fair and has written for The New York Times, Washington Post and Los Angeles Times. Currently, she is the CBS News special correspondent on Castro.
  • Ambassador Vicki Huddleston Ambassador Vicki Huddleston is a Visiting Fellow at Brookings Institution where she is leading a project on Cuba’s Transition. She managed US diplomatic relations with Cuba as the Chief of Mission at the US Interests Section in Havana from 1999 – 2002 under the Clinton and Bush Administrations and also served as ambassador to Madagascar, Mali and Ethiopia.
