Three Benedictine Sisters have quietly built the greenest building in America on a tranquil prairie setting outside Madison, Wisconsin. The new chapel at Holy Wisdom Monastery was not only awarded a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum rating by the U.S. Green Building Council but received 63 out of a possible 69 points, the highest LEED Platinum rating in the country to date.
