Global Gay Literature
JUNE 24, 2010 THURSDAY AT 3PM CT

June is Pride Month and to celebrate we hear stories from some of the best queer writers from around the world. Through newly translated work out of Indonesia, Israel, and Germany, we talk about what it's like to be gay in these countries today and about the present and future of queer literature around the world.

Guest
  • Susan Harris, editorial director of Words Without Borders
  • Raphael Kadushin, Senior Acquisitions Editor at the University of Wisconsin Press, where he initiated, along with David Bergman and Joan Larkin, the Living Out series, the only book series in the world devoted to gay and lesbian autobiography
