Twain's Feast
October 28, 2011 Friday AT 3PM CT

In the winter of 1879, as he was traveling through Europe, Mark Twain wrote a fantasy menu of the American dishes he missed the most. The discovery of the menu led Andrew Beahrs on a journey across America and through the country’s culinary history, re-discovering the lost dishes that Twain loved so much.
