Thanks for all your wonderful work. I first listen to you in college during the summers when I worked animal care at the UW cleaning cages. It was to past the time. It became more than that. You open worlds for me during mundane times and brought interest and depth to a cocky young man. To illustrate what an impact you must have had on me... This week my mother called and told me it was your last show... She said she had remember me talking about listening in college. I am now 42. Good Luck!

I consider you to be one of the most valuable teachers I've had (I'm 18 years old). I thank you for all the ideas and people you've introduced me to. You have a brilliant mind and a wonderful ability to ask thought-provoking questions. I'm a freshman in college now, and I listen to WPR on my portable radio constantly. Your program kept my mind engaged even when I was just walking back to my dorm. Thank you.

For years I've listened to Here on Earth while driving home from Madison. You grew to be my favorite radio talk show host. It was always a joy to listen to you chat and laugh with your guests. You will be sorely missed.

Jean I am deeply saddened by the fact you will not be on air any more. Your show was one of the high points of my day. I hope you'l do some gigs every now and then to fill in your retirement time. Lassi Curitiba PR Brazil

When we moved from NY to WI 7 years ago, I wasn't sure if NPR would stand up, but I was pleasantly surprised! Jean Feraca and "Here on Earth" has been my special favorite. My interests are faith and spirituality, art, foreign culture and cooking --so to have a show that contains such topics has been a special gift and I will deeply miss "Here on Earth." Thank you Jean and may you be blessed in you retirement.

I've only been a regular listener for a few years now, but I've loved your show. You have a remarkable ability to put guests at ease and to further the conversation, asking the right questions. I'll miss your show, but I wish you the best in your retirement. Thank you for all the conversations, insights, and for making me look twice at the world around me.
