Coding Definitions:
  • G7 refers to G.722, Medium Fidelity, Medium Distortion, Low Delay, Low Compression
  • L2 refers to ISO MPEG Layer II, High Fidelity, Low Distortion, Medium Delay, Medium Compression
  • L3 refers to ISO-MPEG Layer III, High Fidelity, Low Distortion, High Delay, High Compression
  • AC refers to versions of Advanced Audio Coding (AAC), High Fidelity, Low distortion, Medium Delay, Very High Compression
  • AX refers to APT-X, High Fidelity, Low Distortion, Low Delay, Medium Compression
  • IP refers to Internet or Ethernet linking capability

    Equipment:
  • ;AD is any version of Adtran ISDN modems such as the ISU128.
  • ;AP is any version of APT or Audio Processing Technology including Tokyo, Chicago, etc
  • ;CX is Comrex Nexus, Envoy or DXP/R.1 (G7/G7+)
  • ;C1 is Musicam/CCS CDQ1000,
  • ;C2 is Musicam/CSS CDQ2000/2001
  • ;Db is DolbyFax encoders such as DP503 and DP524
  • ;M1 is any version of Musicam Prima 110/120/150 Platforms,
  • ;M2 any version of Musicam CDQ 210/220/230 Platforms
  • ;MS Any version of Musicam Suprima IP Dual Audio Codec with ISDN
  • ;RR is any version of Musicam's Roadrunner
  • ;T is any version of the TieLine with ISDN cabaility
  • ;Z is any version of Telos Zephyr, except
  • ;ZX is the Telos Zephyr Xstream with AAC codec
