WPR's live broadcast of the LZ Lambeau events can be heard on Saturday May 22 from 7:30 p.m.-9:00 p.m. on Ideas Network Stations. The broadcast will be hosted by John Munson, WPR's Regional Manager in Superior, and Doug Bradley, a Vietnam veteran and Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications for the University of Wisconsin-Madison's Office of Corporate Relations. Bradley served as an information specialist at U.S. Army Republic of Vietnam (USARV) headquarters in Long Binh, South Vietnam, from November 1970 to November 1971. He helped establish Vets House in 1974, a community-based service center for Vietnam veterans, and served as Director of Vets House from 1975-76. Bradley and UW-Madison Professor Craig Werner are collaborating on a book "We Gotta Get Out of This Place" and co-teach a course, "The U.S. in Vietnam: Music, Media and Mayhem," at UW-Madison.

One of the nation's largest oral history projects, StoryCorps, will be collecting interviews in Green Bay in conjunction with LZ Lambeau. A facilitator will be on hand from Friday, May 21 through Sunday, May 23 to record interviews between friends and family, in which one person interviews the other. Stories covering all topics are welcome. Edited versions could be selected for broadcast statewide on WPR or nationwide on NPR. The interviews will be added to the StoryCorps archive, housed at the American Folklife Center and at the Library of Congress. StoryCorps participants receive a broadcast-quality copy of their interview on CD at the end of their session. There will be no charge for stories covering Vietnam-related topics, but a contribution of $25 for other subjects is suggested.

The hour-long StoryCorps sessions in WPR's Green Bay studio (2420 Nicolet Dr. Green Bay, WI 54311) must be scheduled in advance at 920-465-2444. Interviews will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 21; 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 22; and 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 23.
