Once upon a time people had to talk to a bank teller to deposit a check, go to the library to research a school project, or meet people face to face to make new friends. Now they can do all those things from the comfort of home with the help of a keyboard and mouse.
The Internet is changing the way we communicate with one another, and for some, it's a welcome alternative. But there are those who think it's creating a community of users who are disconnected from their family and friends.
