Former President Bill Clinton urged a crowd of people in Milwaukee Friday to vote for the city's mayor, Tom Barrett, in Tuesday's recall election.
Clinton says Democrats can either go to the polls, or adopt the idea of voter ID and other conservative policies of Republican Governor Scott Walker.
Wisconsin Republicans say President Clinton's presence in Milwaukee was meant to give cover to President Barack Obama apparently deciding not to campaign in Wisconsin before the recall contest.
South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley was in Sussex Friday afternoon, campaigning with Gov. Walker.
