The agency that oversees development is unveiling a campaign to lure business to Wisconsin and get existing companies to expand . In October, the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation will begin a branding campaign using the slogan "In Wisconsin".  Kelly Lietz is with the Development Corporation. He says the state's branding campaign will feature companies like Trek and Organic Valley explaining why they do business in Wisconsin.  Outside marketing will focus on Illinois and Minnesota. There will also be ads statewide.

"Jobs most likely to be created are going to come from existing businesses. So we need to make sure they understand the opportunities here. But as far as our 'border strategy' is concerned, yes, we are targeting Illinois and the Twin Cities," he says.

The 'In Wisconsin' branding campaign will cost 2-million dollars. 500-thousand of that will go toward advertisements.
