Global Terror Thirteen Years After The WTC Attacks, And How The U.S. Is Responding Now
As the country marks the 13th anniversary of the 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center, questions about national security and terrorist threats in the Middle East dominate headlines. Wednesday night, on the eve of the anniversary, President Obama addressed the threat posed by the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria referred to as ISIS or ISIL and layed out a plan to quell the group. As Obama begins a more dedicated offensice against ISIS, national security law expert Steve Vladeck discuss the state of glabal terror and how the U.S. is responding thirteen years after September 11, 2001.
