Special announcement by Cher So Thao Starting on July 29, 2007, the immigration processing fee has increased to $500 plus $80 for finger print when applying for citizenship. Refugees are not subjected to paying the $80 fee for fingerprint. Immigrates who want to apply for permanent residency in the United States have to pay $930.00 plus $80.00 fingerprint. Lost I-94 card will take about 7 to 8 months to get back and costs $290.00
