In this life-and-death drama, Idomeneo, the Cretan king, makes an ill-fated pact with Neptune and is soon confronted with the most dire of consequences.
The magnificence of Mozart's glorious melodies will deliver you across the Grecian Seas as tenor Arturo Chacón-Cruz returns to the Florentine to sing the title role. Soprano Georgia Jarman also returns, making her role debut as the alluring but jealous Princess Elettra.

The multifaceted Colin O'Brien will have you moving to his banjo music and soothe your soul with American Finger Style guitar songs. Frogwater rounds out the series with their blend of bluegrass, Delta blues, and ragtime music.

An enchanted tale that has delighted generations. The first masterpiece of a music genius. Experience Stravinsky's The Firebird. Plus, the orchestra's Todd Levy plays Aaron Copland's tender Clarinet concerto.
Join Lori Skelton one hour before this concert for "Behind the Notes" in Anello Atrium at the Marcus Center, for an interactive discussion about the music. "Behind the Notes" is free for all patrons attending the performance.

About the Milwaukee Office
The downtown Milwaukee office of Wisconsin Public Radio opened in 1989 under the management of Bill Estes. Since then, the Milwaukee office has become home to a full-time reporter, two statewide programs and two full-time corporate development officers.
