Wisconsin U.S. Rep. Glenn Grothman said the recent rift between Donald Trump and House Speaker Paul Ryan is nothing more than a “squabble.”
Things have been tense between Ryan and Trump since Ryan uninvited the GOP presidential nominee from his party’s annual Fall Fest in Elkhorn two weeks ago. Trump has since fired back on Twitter, calling Ryan a “weak leader.”
Grothman, a Republican and vocal supporter of Trump, said Wednesday that Ryan, Trump, and their supporters will come together after the Nov. 8 election.

“Sometimes we have little squabbles between people, but I look forward to Donald Trump and Paul Ryan being a great team beginning in January,” Grothman said.
On the eve of the final presidential debate, Grothman said the GOP nominee should focus on the issues in the final presidential debate, including border security, foreign policy and balancing the budget.
Grothman said there would be no point to Trump addressing the recent allegations of sexual assault during the debate.
