Democratic gubernatorial candidate Mary Burke’s campaign war chest is $1 million lighter than her campaign had previously thought, according to an Associated Press report.
Burke’s campaign had issued a press release on Monday that said the candidate raised about $10.2 million during a three-month period concluding on Oct. 20, but in an official filling with state election officials, the amount was about $9.3 million, the report said.
Meanwhile, Burke’s rival, Republican Gov. Scott Walker, told election officials that his campaign had raised nearly $10.4 million during the same reporting period.
