The pair of 13-year-old Wisconsin girls charged with stabbing a classmate 19 times have plead not guilty, according to reports Friday from multiple news sources.

Morgan Geyser and Anissa Weier are being tried as adults for allegedly luring another girl into the woods during a sleepover and stabbing her to prove loyalty to a mythical internet horror character known as Slender Man.

All three girls were 12 at the time of the attack. The victim survived the stabbing.

A Waukesha County judge decided earlier this month to keep the case in adult court, saying that the defendants would have better access to ongoing mental health treatment if convicted.

The trial is tentatively scheduled to begin October 15.
