This week we will broadcast from the UW-Stevens Point campus as we focus on the 2014 Wisconsin Lakes Partnership Convention, an event expected to attract hundreds of scientists, lake managers, consultants and advocates concerned with the future of our fresh water resources. Our guests are: Jane Dauffenbach, President of Aquarius Systems of Wisconsin; Mary Knipper, Board President for the non-profit organization Wisconsin Lakes; Erin McFarlane, Aquatic Invasive Species Volunteer Coordinator with UW-Extension; and Carroll Schall, Section Chief for Lakes and Rivers of the Wisconsin DNR. Route 51 host, Glen Moberg will also moderate a panel at the convention Friday morning with the scientists involved in a 30 year experiment on acid rain at Little Rock Lake north of Minocqua. The 2014 Wisconsin Lakes Partnership Convention is being held April 24-26 at the Holiday Inn Hotel and Convention Center in Stevens. Point.
