Flu season is raging. Influenza is now widespread in almost every state, including Wisconsin. Our guest is director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy. He analyzes this winter’s epidemic, the low effectiveness of the seasonal vaccine, and drug shortages. He argues that a universal influenza vaccine is the only way to prevent a global flu pandemic.
