Gov. Scott Walker had nothing more to say Thursday about whether he believes in evolution, after ducking the question at a forum in London the day before.
Walker was asked Wednesday by a moderator at the Chatham House think tank in London whether he believes in evolution. Walker said he would “punt” on the question, saying it’s something politicians shouldn’t be involved in one way or the other.
Asked again in a conference call with Wisconsin reporters Thursday, Walker had nothing more to add.

“It obviously hasn’t been asked in the last four years in any other regard regarding my position as governor, so I’ll just leave it at that,” said Walker.
The governor said he thought a written statement issued by his campaign spoke for itself when Walker said, “Both science and my faith dictate my belief that we are created by God.”
But Walker also declined to discuss foreign policy at Chatham House, which is known in part for its foreign affairs prestige. He said Chatham House knew that going in.
“They knew full well that — they were advised in advance — that we weren’t going to talk about foreign policy or presidential politics,” said Walker.
Walker said his trip was focused on promoting Wisconsin trade, and there would be plenty of time to comment on other issues when he returned to the U.S.
