| As we transition through life, we focus more on the idea of new beginnings, rather than acknowledging the endings when they happen. That's according to Gene Purcell's guest, after three, who says our exits can be powerful moments, and that preparing for small departures in our lives can prepare us for the larger ones.
Guest: Sara Lawrence-Lightfoot, sociologist, and the Emily Hargroves Fisher professor of education at Harvard University. She's the author of ten books, and her latest is "Exit: The Endings That Set Us Free." |
