| Today in court, the alleged Aurora shooter was charged with 24 counts of murder and 116 counts of attempted murder. Both carry a maximum death penalty upon conviction. But just how do we measure punishment in these cases? In this hour, Ben and his guests discuss the role of punishment and sentencing in criminal cases...and what healing follows for the victims and their families.
Guests:
- Stan Stojkovic (STOY-kuh-vitch), Dean of the Helen Bader School of Social Welfare, and Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice, UW-Milwaukee
- Rabbi Joe Black, senior Rabbi at Temple Emanuel in Denver, Colorado |
