| In the early days of the Space Race, twenty-five female pilots were asked to train in secret as astronauts. Only thirteen were selected... the Mercury 13. After nine, Kathleen Dunn is joined by one of these trailblazing women.

Eight of the women of the Mercury 13, will participate in a panel discussion at 10:15 a.m. Friday, May 11, at Reeve Memorial Union Theater, 748 Algoma Blvd., Oshkosh.
The presentation of the honorary doctorates will be the first time all the women will be recognized together, Commencement ceremonies Saturday, May 12, are at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Kolf Sports Center, 785 High Ave., Oshkosh. |
