| After ten, Kathleen Dunn's guest takes us into the fascinating world of the bonobo (buh-NO-boe), the great ape species most like humans. The only bonobos living in the wild are in a country where war threatens their survival, and the Milwaukee County Zoo is trying to save them.
Guest: Jo Sandin, retired reporter, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Author, "Bonobos: Encounters in Empathy" (Zoological Society of Milwaukee). |
