| This year marks the 35th anniversary of the passage of Title Nine, the first comprehensive federal law prohibiting sex discrimination against students and employees of educational institutions. After ten, John Munson and his guest discuss the history of the law, and how far we’ve come since then.
Guests:
- Bernice Sandler, Senior Scholar, Women's Research and Education Institute. Ms. Sandler played a vital role in the development and passage of Title IX.
- Caryn McTighe Musil, Senior Vice President, Association of American Colleges and Universities. Her article, “Scaling the Ivory Towers,” appears in the fall 2007 edition of “Ms." magazine. |
