How do presidential candidates choose their election songs? What is the relationship between election politics and campaign songs? Joy Cardin's guests after eight will answer these questions and more about the two-way relationship between presidential campaigns and songs. Guests: -Benjamin Schoening is an Assistant Professor of Music at the University of Wisconsin-Barron County and music director of the Red Cedar Choir in Rice Lake. -Eric Kasper is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Wisconsin-Barron County and the municipal judge in Rice Lake. They are the co-authors of "Don't Stop Thinking About the Music: The Politics of Songs and Musicians in Presidential Campaigns."
