Joy Cardin
from Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 7:00 AM
The media was lambasted for its coverage in the early stages of the Newtown, Connecticut tragedy, having reported several details incorrectly, interviewed children and identified the killer. Joy Cardin's guest says that while some of those criticisms are legitimate, news outlets have done a respectable job and deserve a lot of credit. Then, Joy's guest meteorologist has the latest on the major snowstorm walloping Wisconsin. Guests: - Andrew Beaujon (BO-zhahn), Senior Online Reporter at the Poynter Institute. - Jeff Last, Warning Coordination Meteorologist for the National Weather Service-Green Bay office.
