Gubernatorial Inauguration
WPR carried live coverage of the Inauguration of Governor Jim Doyle and other state constitutional officers at the State Capitol. Lieutenant Governor Barbara Lawton, Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen, Secretary of State Doug La Follette, and State Treasurer Dawn Marie Sass were also sworn in.

Citizens from around the state will question the candidates on a wide variety of social issues during this "We the People: Wisconsin" debate in LaCrosse. The debate will be broadcast live on Wisconsin Public Television and here on the Ideas Network of Wisconsin Public Radio.
