With another closely divided election coming on April 1, Wisconsin voters need every resource they can find to make up their minds and cast their votes. That’s why Wisconsin Public Radio is bringing back their Candidate Guide, this time focusing on the two statewide elections on the spring ballot – State Supreme Court and State Superintendent of Public Instruction.
The interactive guide at wpr.org/voterguide lets anyone quickly find and compare candidates’ positions on the issues Wisconsinites told WPR they care about. All ballot-certified candidates running for statewide posts in Wisconsin were invited to participate. Questions for the candidates were shaped by suggestions from people who completed a survey on wpr.org.
For state Supreme Court candidates, questions about recusal and political funding were top of mind for survey participants. In the race for state superintendent of public instruction, they wanted to hear about voucher schools, mental health and financial responsibility.
Find and compare the candidates’ responses for both races at wpr.org/voterguide.
The online guide was created in partnership with ElectUp. Follow all of WPR’s election coverage at wpr.org.
