Are Wisconsin's Rural Areas Embracing Increasing Diversity?
Wisconsin, like the rest of the country, is getting more diverse and it can be particularly noticeable in rural and suburban areas that are largely white. For example, in Wisconsin’s Trempealeau County, less than one percent of the population was hispanic in 2000. In 2010 it was almost six percent, a 595% increase in ten years. As diversity grows, how are Wisconsin’s communities embracing it?

Wisconsin Manufacturers And Commerce President Suggests Reforms To Make Wisconsin More Business-Friendly
In order for Wisconsin to reach its full economic potential, a few more reforms need to be put into place. That’s according to Kurt Bauer, president and CEO of Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce. He explains why he says raising the gas tax, eliminating the highest personal income tax bracket, and becoming a right-to-work state will make Wisconsin a more business-friendly state.
