The fair runs Aug. 1-11 in West Allis, where it's taken place since 1892
The Wisconsin State Fair runs for one more weekend in West Allis. Attendees have been enjoying all the fair classics: rides, animals, live music, vendors and of course food.
Terry Shepard of Cudahy and his wife, Kim, have been attending the state fair for 30 years. Terry enjoys the unique food options every year, this year looking forward to the Elvis Nachos, which are deep-fried potato chips topped with peanut butter banana sauce, peanuts, banana chips, and crumbled bacon, according to the Wisconsin State Fair website.
