Enrollment Up 5 Percent At Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College in Superior

WITC Sees 250 New Students Attending This Fall

Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College students are going back to school this week in Superior, and the campus is seeing a surge in student enrollment this semester.

Jessica Hehir, marketing and public relations associate for WITC-Superior, said new student enrollment is up around 5 percent from last year with 250 new students attending this fall. Hehir said their degree programs are driving the increase.

“Our programs are designed to meet the needs of employers in our area, and so students enrolling at WITC know that they’re going into a program that is designed to fit the needs of employers and allow them to get right into the work place,” she said. “We have a very high job placement rate, and students will very clearly see the return on their investment in a very short period of time.”
