Northern Wisconsin’s leaves are falling, but this year’s warm fall weather means some parts of southern Wisconsin won’t see peak colors until November.
As of Oct. 12, the Wisconsin Fall Color Report showed the peak of autumn scenery had passed in popular Northwoods leaf-peeping locations like Eagle River, Boulder Junction and Tomahawk. Meanwhile, parts of southern Wisconsin were still weeks away from their peaks.
