On Sunday, September 8th at 2 pm, the University of Eau Claire Department of Music and Theatre Arts presents Faculty Professor Emeritus Paul Kosower in a solo concert of organ and cello. The program will center on J. S. Bach’s most famous work for organ. It will be followed by Solo Suites 1 & 3 for cello and a solo work Kosower wrote entitled “Vista con Amore”. The program will conclude with Bach’s Prelude and Fugue in a minor (“The Great”) for organ. The Gantner Organ is a 1972 Aeolian-Skinner Pipe Organ of 47 ranks of pipes totaling nearly 3,000 pipes.
This program is open and free to the public on September 8th at 2 pm. in the Gantner Concert Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Building on the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire campus.
