Present Music / Wu Tsang’s Moby Dick – silent film with live music

This Valentine’s Day at the Oriental Theatre, MacArthur Award-winning filmmaker and visual artist Wu Tsang and Present Music embark upon a feature-length, silent-film retelling of Herman Melville’s great American novel Moby Dick. The film includes original music composed by Pulitzer Prize winner Caroline Shaw, Grammy Award winning cellist Andrew Yee and electronics musician and D.J. Asma Maroof, performed live by a 15-piece ensemble conducted by Georgia Mills.
