Join the Madison Bach Musicians for a performance of the powerful J. S. Bach’s St. Matthew Passion, featuring two orchestras, two choirs, and numerous outstanding soloists! The incredible storyline of Jesus’s betrayal, trial, and crucifixion is brought into focus by our musicians, along with English supertitles to accompany the German text. In this work, Bach deftly moves between scenes of intimate reflection and large-scale action to allow the narrative to roll forward to its inexorable conclusion.
