Alexandera Houchin grew up in Rock County and fell in love with bicycling in Madison. Last month she set the women’s record in the 527-mile Colorado Trail Race. Houchin sees herself as both an Anishinabe woman and as a dominant competitor in extreme distance races on her singlespeed mountain bike.
