Ingredients
- 1 (4 lb) beef brisket
- As much fresh garlic as you desire
- 1 (15 ounce) can whole berry cranberry sauce
- 15-ounce package of dried apricots
- 2 packets of dry onion soup mix
- 2 cups water

- Braise the brisket in large roasting pan on high heat, 5-10 minutes on each side.
- Add generously amount of garlic. Sprinkle on apricots and dry onion soup mix.
- Mash up cranberry sauce and spread over brisket.
- Pour 2 cups water over all. Cover pan with foil sealing tightly and bake at 350° for about 3-4 hours.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool. Slice brisket in to thin strips
- Cook again in oven for about an hour drizzling more sauce over it.
- Remove and store covered in foil in refrigerator for a day. Then cook it again for an hour. Enjoy!
