Wisconsin’s governor and likely presidential candidate, Scott Walker, says a pending court ruling on federal health subsidies could be a big problem — foir Congress, not for him.
In a letter to CNN, Walker accused President Barack Obama of pointing the finger at states for a problem he created. When Walker was asked in Milwaukee whether Wisconsin had any backup plan if the U.S Supreme Court ruled against federal subsidies in Wisconsin and 33 other states under the Obama’s health care law, he said it’s up to Washington to find a solution.
“The contingency is the people who created the problem should fix it. President Obama created the problem, the previous Congress created the problem. They should fix it,” Walker said. “As usual, they are going to want to kick the problem to the states and we’re not going to take it.”

About 183,000 Wisconsinites get health coverage through the federal exchange and almost 91 percent of them receive federal subsidies. Plaintiffs in the King v. Burwell case contend subsidies are only allowed in states that operate their own exchange.
