The state Department of Health Services announced Thursday on its website that 155 people have tested positive for COVID-19, up from 106 Wednesday.
That number included the first confirmed cases in Bayfield, Calumet, Columbia, Eau Claire, Ozaukee, Sauk and Walworth counties.

DHS has identified community spread of the virus in Brown, Dane, Kenosha and Milwaukee counties, meaning some people who have been infected with the virus are not sure how or where they became infected.
The 155 figure did not include two new cases in La Crosse County, bringing the total to at least 157.
