Wisconsin health officials launched an Ebola hotline on Friday.
There are no suspected cases of Ebola in the state, but there have been three cases in Texas and another in New York.
Karen McKeown, administrator for Wisconsin’s Division of Public Health, said there is already information on the Department of Health Services website but said that some people may not be comfortable using computers and want to interact with a real person.

McKeown said that the multilingual hotline “is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so that people can call and get information about Ebola.”
She emphasized that the hotline is not “a diagnostic tool.”
“This is for people who want to know more about Ebola and what we’re doing in the state,” said McKeown.
People answering the hotline have been provided information from health professionals to relay to the public in real time.
The hotline’s number is 1-844-684-1064.
