The city of La Crosse holds the first-ever Artspire in mid-June. The event is designed to become an annual celebration of the arts community. Hear, Here
A proposed new oral history project by a UW-La Crosse professor would create a unique way to relive stories big and small of historic downtown La Crosse. A class for students and community members is set to begin next fall that could eventually lead to a system where people listen over the phone to history stories that occurred throughout downtown La Crosse. The phone system would also allow people to share their stories of what happened to them at that same location.
