One person was killed and three people were wounded in a shooting on Kenosha’s north side early Saturday morning, according to Kenosha police.

Officers responded to the shooting in a parking lot in the 1700 block of 52nd Street, near the intersection of 52nd and 19th Avenue, according to a police tweet on Saturday morning. Police found vehicles apparently fleeing the scene and people running from the lot.

Police attempted to provide “lifesaving first aid” on the scene, but one victim died. Of the three who were injured, one is listed in critical condition, a second is in serious condition and the third suffered non-life-threatening injuries. They were taken to area hospitals, police said.
